Welcome to Light of my Lamp!
I am Aleisha and the founder of Light of my Lamp, a place to find encouragement, to make you ponder and think on scripture and a place I desire to be used by God to reach many hearts!
I have had a love for writing for awhile now and wanted a way to be able to share what God puts on my heart with others, thus resulting in Lamp of my Light.
The story behind the title is I came to realize and became convicted of the fact I have never read the Bible through. I have read pieces of the Bible and listened to the preacher but I have never gotten my own self into the Bible. I made it a goal to complete this year, read the Bible through! As I began doing this I have noticed parables, stories and verses I had never seen or interpreted for myself and my own understanding. God's word has truly became a light to my path and has began leading me and speaking to me! I pray that as God speaks to me I can be used to speak to you! .
I am a 20 something year old, a wife to my best friend, and very handsome man of my dreams, I am a mommy of two wild boys and work full time at a wonderful family owned company. Life is an adventure I am blessed with the best to walk the journey with.
